Sky Deutschland has secured extensive live rights to the LIV Golf League and the Asian Tour, strengthening the pay-TV broadcaster’s golf portfolio across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
Under the agreements, Sky Sport will show all LIV Golf League tournaments and a selection of key Asian Tour events from 2026, amounting to around 30 events and close to 600 hours of live golf per year.
The rights cover all distribution platforms in the DACH region. Coverage begins immediately this weekend with the live broadcast of the LIV Golf Promotions 2026 qualifying event from Black Diamond Ranch in Florida, airing daily from 16:00 to 21:00 CET. The field includes Germany’s Dominic Foos, Max Kieffer and Max Rottluff, as well as Austria’s Matthias Schwab, all competing for three wildcard places for the 2026 LIV Golf season.
“With long-term exclusive rights to all four men’s majors, the rights to the five women’s majors and all key women’s events, and now the LIV Golf League and the Asian Tour, Sky Sport Golf will continue to be the first port of call for golf fans in Germany,” said Hans Gabbe, Senior Vice President Sports Rights and Commercialisation at Sky Deutschland. “LIV Golf’s global schedule and its unique team and individual format give fans access to some of the biggest stars and outstanding venues. Our customers can look forward to innovatively produced events and many of the world’s most exciting players.”
Örjan Olsson, SVP International Media Rights at LIV Golf, added: “Working with Sky Deutschland reflects our ongoing commitment to growing LIV Golf’s audience and aligns with Sky Sport’s comprehensive dedication to top-tier golf coverage. Partnering with one of the world’s leading golf broadcasters underlines our shared ambition to evolve the sport and reach new audiences with dynamic storytelling and high-level competition.”
The LIV Golf League will stage 14 tournaments across ten countries and five continents in 2026, including stops in Saudi Arabia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Mexico, Spain, the UK and the US. Players set to feature regularly on Sky Sport Golf include Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Joaquin Niemann, as well as Germany’s former Masters champion Martin Kaymer.
Alongside LIV Golf, Sky Sport will show selected Asian Tour events, including tournaments from the International Series, which offers a pathway into LIV Golf and provides world ranking points and qualification routes to the Masters and The Open.
According to Sky Deutschland, the additions will take its annual live golf output to more than 1,000 hours. The broadcaster already holds long-term exclusive rights to the four men’s majors, all five women’s majors, the Solheim Cup, the Ladies PGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour, as well as senior majors and the Tomorrow Golf League. Coverage is available via Sky Stream and the WOW streaming service.
