GoldStar TV unveils personality-led Schlager show

January 8, 2026 07.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German music channel GoldStar TV will premiere a new original show, Meine GoldStars! präsentiert von Anni Perka, on 1 February 2026 at 22:00 CET, introducing a format built around personal video messages from artists rather than studio interviews or live performances.

The programme centres on short, direct-to-camera contributions in which singers link their songs to personal stories, memories and emotions. According to the broadcaster, the approach is designed to offer viewers a more intimate perspective on both established Schlager stars and emerging acts, moving away from traditional music television structures.

Singer and presenter Anni Perka (pictured) hosts the show and has curated the line-up together with the GoldStar TV editorial team. Perka said the aim was to place artists’ personalities alongside their music. “It was important to me to create a programme where artists are at the centre not only with their songs, but also with who they are,” she explained. “Meine GoldStars! is a very personal selection of people and songs that move me.”

The new format features contributions from Norman Langen, Sonia Liebing, Max Weidner, Laura Wilde, René Ulbrich, Pia-Sophie, Romy Kirsch, Neon, Tanja Lasch, Antje Klann, Tabi and Perka herself. The mix of well-known names and newer voices underlines the channel’s intention to appeal to Schlager fans looking for more than a standard music playlist.

GoldStar TV is positioned as a dedicated destination for German-language Schlager and related music programming. Its schedule spans classic hits from the 1960s and 1970s, highlights from the Neue Deutsche Welle era of the 1980s, and contemporary Schlager stars, alongside concerts, artist portraits and music-focused documentaries.

The pay-TV channel, operated by German media company Mainstream Media, is distributed across a broad range of platforms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including Amazon Prime Video Channels, waipu.tv, Zattoo, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Rakuten TV, Rlaxx TV, Sunrise TV, Swisscom blue TV and O2 TV.
