TiVo has outlined a new set of TiVo OS features, content additions and device expansions ahead of CES 2026, as Xperi’s platform business looks to widen distribution beyond smart TVs.
TiVo Platform Technologies, a subsidiary of Xperi, said TiVo OS is now available across 2K and 4K smart TVs and is also being deployed across other device categories, including set-top boxes, soundbars and mini-LED monitors.
On the product side, TiVo OS is adding a Partner Picks carousel for provider-driven recommendations, autoplay hero video trailers on the home page, and the ability to surface live programming within recommendations alongside VOD and TVOD. TiVo also flagged further improvements to voice search aimed at discoverability and accuracy across languages and regions.
The company said it has expanded its content partnerships with the addition of Crunchyroll, Cineverse and iHeartRadio.
Sports is another focus area, with TiVo OS highlighting the official NBA app and an expanded roster of free sports channels including NASCAR, Tennis TV and Red Bull TV. Geir Skaaden, EVP and chief product and services officer at Xperi, said the platform is targeting stronger viewer engagement while creating additional opportunities for advertisers and content partners.
