German pay-TV broadcaster Sportdigital has renewed its exclusive Supercopa de España rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, extending its deal through to 2028.
The agreement covers the 2025/26, 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, keeping the Spanish Super Cup on Sportdigital’s platforms in the DACH region.
The next edition will be staged in early January 2026, with FC Barcelona facing Athletic Bilbao in the first semi-final on 7 January, followed by Real Madrid against Atlético Madrid on 8 January. Both matches are scheduled for a 20:00 CET kick-off.
As in recent years, the tournament will take place in Saudi Arabia, with matches set to be played at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
“With the Supercopa de España we have been able to secure an important flagship right for our viewers until 2028 in a competitive sports rights market,” said Gisbert Wundram, Managing Director of Sportdigital. “With the Africa Cup, which is still running with us until 18 January, and the Spanish Super Cup, we are offering all football fans two real top highlights right at the start of the year.”
All Supercopa de España matches will air on pay-TV channel Sportdigital Fußball and be available via the Sportdigital+ app.
