German TV streaming service waipu.tv has secured exclusive distribution of the Gymondo TV fitness channel, which is available immediately to subscribers from the Comfort package upwards.
Positioned as an “at-home studio”, the channel is being marketed as a way for viewers to fit in a session “whenever there’s time” without leaving the house – whether before the festive period or to get a head start on New Year resolutions. The programming ranges from yoga and strengthening workouts to gentler training units aimed at helping users start the year “healthy and fit”.
Gymondo TV offers themed programmes focused on losing weight, toning, building muscle and improving mobility. Certified trainers explain exercises in detail and provide variations for beginners as well as advanced users. According to waipu.tv, most workouts can be completed without specialised equipment.
The channel also covers lifestyle, health and fitness topics and features familiar faces including TV and radio presenter Lola Weippert, German influencer couple Sarah and Dominic Harrison (“Team Harrison”) and Gymondo trainer Bea Brestrich.
In terms of genres, Gymondo TV spans figure and shaping training, endurance and strength training, mobility and prevention, plus yoga, (wall) Pilates, dance workouts and formats linked to women’s health. The channel is available to waipu.tv customers of the Comfort and Perfect Plus subscription packages.
