RT has launched a Moscow Metro train wrap branded as “Propaganda Train” as part of events marking the network’s 20th anniversary.
The post ironic RT-liveried train has entered service on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line and is scheduled to run until June 2026.
RT said the installation uses 3 carriage themes – “The Newsroom”, “Censorship” and “Live Broadcast” – presenting the channel’s history since its 2005 launch. The operator added that carriage interiors feature themed grab-rails shaped like megaphones and RT microphones, with wall graphics incorporating quotes about RT from international media and politicians, alongside remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The metro activation follows earlier anniversary events in 2025, including a gala at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre, projection mapping on the theatre façade and a large megaphone installation on Manezhnaya Square featuring quotes about the channel, with a studio space for live output.
RT said it now operates a multilingual TV news network in 10 languages and includes the Ruptly video agency, claiming availability to more than 900 million viewers across over 100 countries.
