Canal+ Polska folds Premiery TVOD into unified CANALVOD store

December 12, 2025 11.01 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Canal+ Polska is consolidating its on-demand offer in Poland by migrating its standalone Premiery Canal+ transactional VOD service into the main Canal+ streaming platform under a new CANALVOD banner.

Since 10 December, a CANALVOD section has been added to the Canal+ interface, hosting all pay-per-view movie rentals alongside the existing subscription catalogue and free content, so users can access SVOD, TVOD and free titles within a single service and account.

Premiery Canal+ and CANALVOD will run in parallel until 15 January. Viewers can continue to rent films via Premiery until 8 January, but new releases are now being added only to CANALVOD. Existing Premiery accounts carry over, with users logging into the Canal+ app and finding their purchased and rented titles in the CANALVOD section.

The TVOD offer is available to all users, including those without a Canal+ subscription. Rentals can be ordered via web browsers and the Canal+ app on Samsung, LG, Hisense and Philips smart TVs, although Canal+ notes that payments and playback are temporarily unavailable on Apple devices.

The move follows Canal+ Polska’s earlier decision in 2025 to drop separate “Platforma Canal+” and “Canal+ online” branding and bring satellite, IPTV and streaming services together under a single Canal+ label, with Canal VOD now integrated as part of that unified ecosystem.
