New German news channel Nachrichten 360 launches on Samsung TV Plus

December 11, 2025 12.52 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Nachrichten 360, a newly created 24-hour German-language news channel developed in collaboration with news agencies dpa, AFP and Reuters, has launched on Samsung TV Plus in Germany.

The service is operated by Love TV Channels, a Barcelona-based provider of thematic free ad-supported streaming TV channels.

Available free of charge from 10 December, Nachrichten 360 delivers rolling coverage sourced from leading national and international news agencies, offering viewers a diverse and continuously updated view of global and domestic events.

The launch builds directly on the company’s experience in Spain, where its first 24-hour news channel, Actualidad 360, debuted one year ago and has since become a strong performer within its category.

With Nachrichten 360, Love TV Channels brings its news format to Germany – a market where the company already operates two other thematic channels – and seeks to widen the currently limited offering of German-language streaming news services.

“The current offering of streaming TV news channels in Germany and the relevant success of CTV advertising in this market have been key to undertake the launch of Nachrichten 360. With our partners, AFP, dpa and Reuters, we are confident that Nachrichten 360 will be a success in the streaming TV German landscape, contributing to the continued growth of the market,” said Teresa Lopez, CEO of Love TV Channels.

Samsung TV Plus, the country’s most widely used FAST platform, is positioning the channel as a significant expansion of its news section. Benedikt Frey, Country Lead DACH + BeNeLux at Samsung TV Plus, said: “The launch of Nachrichten 360 represents a key opportunity to strengthen and expand our news channel lineup in collaboration with Love TV Channels. This addition brings plural and high-quality news to the platform, giving viewers a broader range of perspectives.”

Germany has become one of Europe’s most dynamic markets for FAST and Connected TV (CTV) advertising, yet the selection of streaming news channels remains comparatively small. Nachrichten 360 aims to fill that gap with a free, diverse, agency-driven news feed designed for smart TVs and streaming audiences.

Founded in 2022, Love TV Channels is rapidly expanding its footprint across Europe, the US, Latin America and Australia. The company now operates 25 channels under 10 brands, including Trailers, Love Wine, Love the Planet, Love Crime & History, Love Travel & Taste, Actualidad 360/Nachrichten 360, Historia y Vida (with Grupo Godó), Clips Don’t Lie and El Mueble, reaching more than 20 million monthly viewers across 34 countries.

Its channels are carried on major FAST and OTT platforms such as Samsung TV Plus, Roku, Pluto TV, Titan OS, Amazon Prime Video, LG Channels, Xumo Play, Xiaomi TV+, Tivify and Netgem, as well as within IPTV and operator packages from O2, Orange TV, Vodafone, Free and Masmovil.
