Short-form streaming service FlixSnip has launched on Titan OS, bringing its catalogue of under-20-minute films and series to Philips, JVC and AOC smart TVs in Europe and Latin America.
The app is now available as a free download on all existing Smart TVs running Titan OS. It will also come pre-installed on all new Titan OS-powered sets, giving the service prominent placement on supported devices from first switch-on.
Viewers will be able to access FlixSnip’s line-up of short films, series, documentaries and cultural programming, aimed at users looking for premium, curated content in snackable form.
“Titan OS is redefining the smart TV experience, and FlixSnip is proud to be part of that evolution,” said Sebastien Perioche, CEO at FlixSnip. “This partnership allows us to bring premium, bite-sized stories to living rooms across multiple continents – with zero friction for the user.”
Titan OS positions itself as an independent, content-first smart TV operating system, aggregating free and paid services alongside a growing roster of FAST channels. FlixSnip will sit within the Titan OS environment alongside subscription platforms such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, as well as free channels including A+E, Bloomberg, FIFA+ and Euronews.
Both Titan OS and FlixSnip are headquartered in Barcelona, a factor the companies say supports closer collaboration and locally driven content and distribution partnerships.
