A+E Global Media grows FAST line-up in DACH with Ax Men and Swamp People

December 11, 2025 13.40 Europe/London By Julian Clover

A+E Global Media has expanded its FAST footprint in the German-speaking markets with the launch of two new single-series channels built around Ax Men and Swamp People.

The 24/7, free ad-supported services deliver full-series runs dubbed in German and are aimed at viewers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

The channels have already gone live in Germany on Prime Video, Rakuten and Titan OS, with further launches to follow on Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Pluto TV, VIDAA and wedotv.

Mark Garner, Executive Vice President, Head of Global FAST Channels at A+E Global Media, said the DACH region is a key growth market for FAST and that tightly curated, franchise-led channels are proving an effective way to reach viewers at scale with “programming they already love”.

The move adds to A+E’s growing global FAST portfolio and underlines its strategy of building branded, fan-focused channels around high-performing factual entertainment franchises, offering an always-on, lean-back viewing experience.
