SPI International has named Bartłomiej Major as Director of Channels, with responsibility for programming strategy and the development of the group’s TV brands.
In his new role he will oversee the portfolio including Kino Polska, Zoom TV, Stopklatka, the FilmBox-branded channels and DIZI.
“With his extensive experience, deep understanding of the media industry, and knowledge gained over the years, Bartek will play a key role in driving our programming strategy and channels growth,” said Erwan Luherne, Managing Director at SPI International. “I am confident that his expertise and fresh perspective will help us strengthen SPI International’s position and better meet the needs of viewers and business partners.”
Major will also work closely with Canal+ group entities to support the development of Canal+ operations in the Benelux countries and Central Europe. He joins SPI International from Hearst Networks, where he was Programming Director for Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, having previously held roles at FOX Networks Group in Amsterdam and Warsaw and at MTV Networks Poland.
