RTL expands reach of its FAST Channels with launch on waipu.tv

December 3, 2025 11.42 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

RTL Deutschland is extending the distribution of its FAST Channels by bringing seven services to waipu.tv, marking the first major expansion beyond its own streaming platform RTL+.

The German broadcaster originally launched its FAST line-up on RTL+ in August 2025 and is now making the channels available to a wider audience through TV streaming service waipu.tv.

waipu.tv has added the first three channels – RTL Comedy, RTL Shine and RTL Haus & Garten – with Alles was zählt Classics, hundkatzemaus, Shopping Queen and Bauer sucht Frau to follow on 9 December 2025. All seven channels will be available free of charge to all waipu.tv customers.

The channels feature full episodes of popular RTL formats, spanning sitcoms, lifestyle, long-running daily dramas and reality entertainment. RTL Comedy brings back sitcom classics such as Nikola, Das Amt and Die Camper. RTL Haus & Garten includes factual entertainment shows like Ab ins Beet!, Einsatz in 4 Wänden and Mieten, kaufen, wohnen, while RTL Shine curates a mix of cooking formats and major RTL entertainment shows.

Alles was zählt Classics will feature memorable episodes from the long-running daily drama, and hundkatzemaus offers pet-focused reports and advice. Shopping Queen showcases star designer Guido Maria Kretschmer’s daily fashion competition, and Bauer sucht Frau provides highlights from more than 20 years of rural dating stories.

By adding seven RTL FAST channels at once, waipu.tv is significantly expanding its free, ad-supported television line-up, which already includes over 300 channels. The platform, operated by Exaring, reaches more than two million paying subscribers.
