Canal+ Distribution has expanded the reach of Turkish drama service Kanal D Drama with its launch on Premium Subscriptions on The Roku Channel in Mexico and the United States.
From today, Roku users in both markets can subscribe to Kanal D Drama directly through Roku’s Premium Subscriptions experience, which offers unified browsing, sign-up and single-bill payment across multiple services. The SVOD service carries Turkish series dubbed into Spanish and is being billed as 100% dedicated to Turkish drama.
Viewers can discover Kanal D Drama within The Roku Channel, access a 7-day free trial and, once subscribed, watch via Roku devices, Roku TVs and the Roku mobile app without needing to download a separate application. Monthly and annual subscription options are available.
Canal+ Distribution said the move underlines its strategy to grow Kanal D Drama’s digital footprint in Latin America and the US, and to reach new Spanish-speaking audiences. Roku described the addition as part of its wider rollout of Premium Subscriptions in Mexico and its ongoing expansion of partners in the US, aimed at simplifying paid and free streaming within a single environment.
