Tele Columbus has named Tim Rhoenisch as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with the former ProSiebenSat.1 executive set to join the German network operator on 1 January 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Supervisory Board, which said Rhoenisch will help steer the group through a critical phase of fibre-optic network expansion and efforts to put the business on a more sustainable financial footing.
“With Tim Rhoenisch, we are gaining a highly qualified financial expert who not only has excellent operational and strategic skills, but also brings with him a deep understanding of digital business models,” said Supervisory Board chairman Peer Knauer. “His professional experience and leadership skills will help us to further strengthen our financial structure and consistently implement our strategic growth targets.”
Rhoenisch joins Tele Columbus from German media company ProSiebenSat.1, where he has served as CFO of the Commerce & Ventures division since 2022 and, from July 2023, also as CEO of the segment, which includes NuCom Group. He previously held the role of Managing Director and CFO at comparison-portal operator Verivox and began his career at Gerresheimer, including a period as CFO of its US subsidiary.
He replaces former Tele Columbus CFO Nicolai Oswald, who left the company at his own request.
