Mediapro widens FAST channel reach with football, Gen Z and gaming offer

November 18, 2025 12.35 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Mediapro is expanding its role in the FAST market with a managed channel portfolio now carried across a broad line-up of global connected TV platforms.

Gol Classics, Ubeat Lite and two The Gaming Central channels – Shooters and LOL – are being rolled out on Samsung TV+, LG Channels, TCL Channel, Whale TV+, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Titan OS, Nuestra TV and Mediapro’s own GolStadium service.

The services are available in Spain, the UK, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Peru, targeting football fans, Gen Z viewers and eSports audiences with genre-led, always-on streams.

Gol Classics is built around archive rights from La Liga and the Copa del Rey covering the 2007/08 to 2014/15 seasons, featuring stars including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo, and classic El Clásico encounters.

Ubeat Lite repurposes Mediapro’s creator-led formats for a FAST environment, including late-night show “Hoy No Se Sale”, challenge series “Buyeando” and freestyle music strands aimed at digitally native Gen Z audiences.

Shooters focuses on first-person shooter eSports, including national and international tournaments in titles such as Free Fire and CS:GO, while The Gaming Central: LOL is dedicated to League of Legends competition and analysis.

The Channels and Platforms Division at Grup Mediapro is responsible for production and scheduling, drawing on the group’s existing catalogue and original productions to build tailored feeds for each market. The company is positioning the offer as an end-to-end FAST solution for third-party platforms, covering channel creation, content, distribution and monetisation.

Playout, distribution and technical implementation for the channels is handled by Overon, Mediapro’s satellite and broadcast transmission specialist, across all supported platforms.
