ITV entertainment format I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has delivered the biggest entertainment launch of 2025 on any UK channel, according to overnight figures released by the broadcaster.
Sunday night’s 90-minute opener on ITV1 drew an average 6.6 million viewers, peaking at 7.3 million, giving the channel its highest overnight audience of the year so far.
The series is also continuing to pull in younger viewers. Among 16–34s, I’m A Celebrity took an 83% share, with 1.5 million viewers in the demographic – up 9% year on year. ITV says it is the broadcaster’s biggest 16–34 audience since its coverage of Euro 2024.
The launch, combined with England’s World Cup qualifier against Albania – which peaked at 5.7 million TV viewers – and a new series of gameshow revival Bullseye, delivered ITV1’s best Sunday performance of 2025.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is produced by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, with international distribution handled by ITV Studios.
ITVX figures for the new series will be confirmed later, but last year’s run generated more than 80 million streams across the series on the platform, making it the show’s best-ever performance on the streamer.
