TV5MONDE debuts FAST channels on TCL sets

November 13, 2025 11.12 Europe/London By Julian Clover

TCL is adding three TV5MONDE-branded FAST channels to its connected TV services TCL Channel and TCLtv+ under a new global distribution deal.

The agreement covers TV5MONDE Chefs (food), TV5MONDE Info (news) and TV5MONDE Voyage (travel and lifestyle), which will be rolled out to users of TCL’s free streaming services around the world. TV5MONDE Chefs is already available in the United States on TCLtv+, with all three channels due to launch by the end of the year in France, Italy, the UK, the US, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and India.

TV5MONDE CEO Kim Younes said the alliance would deliver “tremendous visibility” for Francophone productions, while TCL’s head of business development Rebecca Wan described the partnership as a strategic step in expanding TCL’s culturally rich content offer on its global TV base.

TCL, the world’s second-largest TV manufacturer, says TCL Channel now reaches more than 50 million users, giving TV5MONDE’s French-language content additional reach across TCL’s smart TV footprint. The channels will be offered as free, ad-supported streams integrated into the TCL Channel and TCLtv+ environments on compatible sets.

TV5MONDE Chefs focuses on gastronomy and culinary travel, TV5MONDE Info combines the broadcaster’s own bulletins with news from partner public broadcasters, while TV5MONDE Voyage carries premium series around travel, fashion, design and international lifestyle.
