
Sky is to close its Sky Live interactive camera on 4 December 2025, ending support for the accessory on Sky Glass.
The operator says the move will allow it to focus investment on “faster, simpler products, unbeatable content and brilliant service”. Customers can continue to use Sky Live as normal up to the closure date, but Sky will no longer offer replacement devices.
Sky is promising refunds for all Sky Live purchasers without requiring the hardware to be returned. Sky Glass & Stream
Sky is continuing to offer new games on including the newly released Who Wants to be a Millionaire, arcade games like PacMan, child-friendly games from Teletubbies and Spongebob, as well as card and strategy games like Solitaire and Chess.
Sky Live launched on 22 June 2023 as an interactive camera accessory exclusively for Sky Glass.
It was designed to turn the TV into a more social and interactive screen, supporting big-screen Zoom video calls, Watch Together co-viewing, motion-controlled games, body-tracking fitness workouts via Mvmnt, and features like VideoBooth and AR effects – essentially positioning Sky Glass as a hub for gaming, exercise and shared viewing as well as linear and streaming TV.
