Airties has been deployed to support Deutsche Telekom’s first consumer Wi-Fi 7 launch across Germany, extending the vendors’ multi-year managed Wi-Fi partnership across the operator’s European footprint.
The deployment uses Airties Home software to steer devices to the best access point and band, manage mesh networking and optimise QoS, while providing operators with diagnostics, automation and dashboards for CRM and customer apps, including parental controls, device prioritisation and guest access.
“Launching Wi-Fi 7 in Germany, as part of a fully managed Wi-Fi experience, demonstrates our unwavering commitment to provide exceptional speed, connectivity, and reliability,” said Pedro Bandeira, SVP Product and New Business at Deutsche Telekom. Airties CEO and founder Metin Taşkin said the company was “honoured” to support the first Wi-Fi 7 launch, adding that the goal is to deliver “the best possible performance across all devices and applications.”
Deutsche Telekom is one of Europe’s largest integrated telcos; Airties’ AI-driven software is used by ISPs globally to improve home connectivity, reduce support costs and enhance customer experience.
