Comcast has named Steve Croney CEO of its Connectivity & Platforms division from 1 January 2026, succeeding Dave Watson, who becomes Vice Chairman of Comcast Corporation.
Croney will oversee Comcast’s broadband, wireless and entertainment distribution platforms.
Comcast says the new leadership will continue an operational transformation that has included national packaging/pricing changes and a refreshed go-to-market, as the group targets improved capacity, efficiency and customer experience across its US connectivity footprint.
In Q3 2025, the Connectivity & Platforms segment delivered around $20.2bn (€18.9bn) of revenue, down about 1% year on year.
Comcast’s Connectivity & Platforms also includes Sky’s European connectivity and platform businesses (broadband, wireless, video in the UK and Italy).
