
The former head of the now defunct French TV platform Salto has been named as Canal+ Africa’s Chief Diversification Officer
Follin, formerly Chief Transformation, Data & AI Officer at Canal+, will lead the group’s diversification strategy across the African continent. He reports to David Mignot, CEO of Canal+ Africa.
The executive joined Canal+ in May 2023 after senior roles at M6, where he oversaw 6play and channel distribution and sat on the Executive Committee. Folin was Managing Director of Salto between September 2019 and March 2023.
Follin began his career at M6 in 2002 and moved into the broadcaster’s digital division in 2008 as Director of New Media Channels. He holds a Master’s in Telecommunications and New Media from Université Paris Dauphine–PSL.
The appointment forms part of a broader strengthening of Canal+ Africa’s organisational structure following the integration with MultiChoice.
