Polish TV viewing rebounded in September as new-season schedules pushed average daily screen time to 3 hours 38 minutes, up 7 minutes on August (3:31) and in line with September 2024, according to Nielsen’s The Gauge.
The uplift was driven entirely by traditional television. Polsat, TVP1 and TVN drew the largest audiences, with FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on TVP1, long-running drama M jak Miłość on TVP2, and TVN’s Fakty among the month’s top programmes.
Streaming’s share of total TV screen usage fell to a 2025 low at 9.1%, down 0.6 percentage points from August. YouTube held steady at 2.2%, while Netflix dipped to 1.9% from 2.0%.
Nielsen launched The Gauge in the United States in 2021 to provide monthly read-outs of TV usage across platforms; the framework now includes Poland.
