DAZN has appointed Rebecca McCloy as Group Chief Commercial Officer, with responsibility for global rights and acquisitions.
She will work with local market teams to drive growth via rights deals and wider commercial initiatives aimed at boosting fan engagement.
McCloy joins from Foxtel Group (Australia), where over 12 years she led commercial content acquisitions and partnerships, helping cement the platform’s sports leadership with more than 50 major domestic and international properties across its four million subscribers.
Marc Watson, DAZN’s current Chief Commercial Officer and former Eleven Sports CEO/co-founder, will transition to a newly created role supporting DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev on strategic projects. The company credits Watson with shaping its global rights and commercial strategy since Eleven’s integration in 2023.
Segev said McCloy’s track record securing Australian and international sports deals would support DAZN’s ambition to be the global home of sport. McCloy said she was looking forward to working with market teams on rights and commercial opportunities to grow customers and deepen engagement.
