Accedo has enabled in-app subscriptions for FloSports on Samsung and Vizio smart TVs, letting viewers buy and manage packages directly on the TV via Samsung Checkout and Vizio Account integrations.
The expansion brings FloSports’ multi-sport service – covering more than 25 disciplines with live and on-demand coverage – to two of North America’s biggest TV platforms, reducing friction for new users and upsells. Accedo supported FloSports across design, development and deployment, and says an LG smart TV app – with the same in-device purchase flow – will follow later this year. The streamer is already available on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV and Roku, alongside mobile and web.
FloSports’ Dave Stelnik, VP of Business Development, said wider platform reach is central to the company’s growth strategy, while Accedo VP (North America) Mrugesh Desai added; “Having frictionless sign-ups direct on the TV makes it even easier for viewers to subscribe to additional sports packages, improving the overall viewer experience.”
For sports streamers, TV-native payments have become a key lever to cut sign-up friction, reduce churn from second-screen drop-off, and open incremental revenue from add-on packages without sending users to phones or browsers.
