CNN will launch a new All Access subscription tier in the United States on 28 October, priced at $6.99/month (€6.00) or $69.99/year (€60.30), with an introductory annual offer of $41.99 (€36.20) for sign-ups before 5 January 2026.
All Access aggregates CNN’s journalism across web, mobile and connected TV, including a selection of live US and International programming, 1,000+ hours of CNN Originals, next-day access to new CNN Original Series and CNN Films, exclusive VOD features and live events, plus all CNN.com articles and subscriber-only content.
The move follows CNN’s ill-fated CNN+ service, which launched on 29 March 2022 at $5.99/month and was shut down on 30 April 2022, just a month later. Warner Bros. Discovery said the standalone product did not fit its post-merger strategy to consolidate streaming under a single offering; subscribers were issued prorated refunds, and selected shows migrated to other WBD platforms.
“[All Access] gives audiences the complete CNN experience in a format that reflects how audiences engage with the news today,” said Alex MacCallum, EVP, Digital Products and Services, CNN Worldwide.
The tier builds on CNN’s October 2024 Basic plan (unlimited article access). Existing pay-TV customers will be able to log in to the new streaming product at no extra cost, though they’ll need the Basic plan for unlimited articles.
