Onet.pl has begun carrying BBC News Polska content under a new syndication agreement with the BBC World Service, adding text and video to the Onet homepage and a dedicated BBC News Polska section.
The tie-up positions Onet as the BBC’s lead distribution partner in Poland. “Joining forces with Onet will help the BBC World Service to reach new audiences… and counter disinformation,” said Fred Durman, Head of Business Development – Americas and Europe, BBC World Service.
Ringier Axel Springer Polska (RASP) owns Onet. “The BBC is a brand that perfectly aligns with [our] philosophy… Together, we deliver content that matters to users,” said Michał Pietniczka, Director of Partnerships at RASP.
Launched on 24 June 2025, BBC News Polska publishes across bbc.com/polska and social platforms and reports a weekly digital audience of more than 250,000. The partnership adds to the BBC’s wider Polish footprint via BBC Studios, which distributes BBC News, BBC Earth, BBC First, BBC Brit, BBC Lifestyle, CBeebies and the BBC Player service in the market.
