TNT Sports has detailed its coverage plans for this winter’s Ashes Series, confirming every ball live on TNT Sports and discovery+ with an on-site team based in Australia across all five Tests.
Presenter Becky Ives will front the coverage from each venue, joined by Sir Alastair Cook, Graeme Swann and Steven Finn. Back in the UK, commentary will be led by Alastair Eykyn and Rob Hatch, broadcasters known previously for rugby and cycling respectively, and former cricketer Ebony Rainford-Brent.
TNT Sports says a rotating cast of guests will add Australian perspective throughout the series.
Discovery+ viewers will get timeline markers to jump to key moments on demand, while daytime highlights will run on TNT Sports’ linear channels and discovery+. Post-day coverage continues with The Edge, a review show from TNT’s London studios hosted by Craig Doyle with two guests after each Test.
In the last Ashes held in Australia, the then BT Sport took the host (Fox Sports Australia) world-feed pictures and commentary, citing Covid/travel constraints. However, after a viewer backlash, BT shifted to more of its own presentation/commentary from the Third Test, rather than relying solely on Fox audio.
The Ashes sits within a wider TNT Sports cricket slate that includes England’s white-ball tour of New Zealand from 18 October to 1 November and the men’s tour of Sri Lanka in January 2026. November programming on TNT Sports also features every match from the Quilter Nations Series, the MotoGP finale from Valencia, FA Cup 1st Round ties and continued UEFA club competitions.
