Airties has unveiled Nova, a SaaS-powered connectivity experience testing platform aimed at broadband service providers, promising faster time-to-market, higher test accuracy and lower operating costs.
Debuting at Network X in Paris (14–16 October, stand C18), Nova combines test automation software with a self-contained modular chamber that can be installed on-premises at ISP labs. It ships with predefined test suites spanning device lifecycle stages, firmware/BSP upgrades and real-world application scenarios (premium streaming, video conferencing, gaming), and produces automated, “actionable” insights to cut manual interpretation.
Nova’s coverage includes functionality/interoperability and stability testing, band/client steering, mesh performance, channel optimisation and single/multi-AP performance. Hardware support includes real and virtual stations, plus mesh-node testing.
Sachin Chickballapur, CTO at Airties, said Nova was designed to tame the complexity of evolving chipsets, CPE and software updates, continuously assessing their impact in a compact form factor for ISP labs.
The launch expands Airties’ test solutions portfolio as ISPs seek more consistent, repeatable Wi-Fi QA across homes, MDUs and small businesses.
