Stingray launches seven FAST channels on Roku in the UK

October 10, 2025 11.47 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Stingray has expanded its partnership with Roku, bringing seven of its free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels to Roku devices in the UK.

The line-up spans music and ambient experiences aimed at background viewing and mood-based listening, from lo-fi café beats to classic rock and action sports. As reported earlier this week, Roku has launched an additional 40 channels into the UK market.

The new channels available now via The Roku Channel and the Live TV Zone on all Roku TVs and streaming players in the UK are:

  • Stingray Cozy Café – coffee-house visuals paired with lo-fi beats for focus and relaxation
  • ZenLIFE by Stingray – meditation videos, tranquil sounds and easy-listening music
  • Stingray Stargaze – starry skies and cosmic vistas with serene soundtracks
  • Stingray Free Riding – ambient extreme-sports footage across surfing, snowboarding, climbing and more
  • Stingray Greatest Hits – chart-toppers from the 1950s to today
  • Stingray Classic Rock – legends of the 60s-80s
  • Stingray Remember the 80s – synth-pop staples and 80s favourites

“We are thrilled to broaden our collaboration with Roku and introduce our expertly curated FAST channels to Roku’s audience in the UK,” said Rick Bergan, Head of Content Distribution at Stingray. “This launch underscores our commitment to providing high-quality, free entertainment to viewers worldwide.”

Stingray said the portfolio is designed to “enhance every moment,” positioning the channels for both passive and thematic viewing across music, wellness and lifestyle backdrops.
