Rakuten TV Enterprise powers first FAST channels for Ace Entertainment, Reframed Content Studios and Shanghai Media Group

October 9, 2025 12.19 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Rakuten TV, via its B2B brand Rakuten TV Enterprise, has signed distribution and technology deals with Ace Entertainment, Reframed Content Studios, and Shanghai Media Group (WingsMedia) to launch dedicated FAST channels for each of the companies.

The services will roll out from Q4 2025, debuting on Rakuten TV before expanding to third-party FAST platforms across multiple European markets. Genres span lifestyle, Asian drama and action films, with initial localised feeds for France and wider English-language launches.

The new channels are:

  • Shark TV (Ace Entertainment) — French feed, launching in France; action-led shark movie strand.
  • Cesar’s Pack Leader TV (Reframed Content Studios) — English feed, launching in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics and Iceland; curated César Millán programming.
  • C-Drama NOW (Magnolia Time) (WingsMedia/SMG, with Bolytics) — French feed, launching in France, Belgium and Luxembourg; first French-dubbed FAST channel in these markets dedicated to Chinese drama.

Rakuten TV Enterprise will oversee channel creation and operations for partners, including playout, scheduling and ad monetisation, and can also provide white-label CTV apps.

Marcos Milanez, Chief Content Officer at Rakuten TV, said the agreements underline a strategy to act as a “one-stop shop” for rights-holders, accelerating FAST distribution and monetisation across Europe.

The additions lift Rakuten TV’s FAST offer of 500+ unique channels (including 100+ owned & operated) available in 43 European territories, with a stated reach of 150 million households.
