
Media Press Group has taken a 50% share in DataTV, Italy’s largest provider of TV and streaming metadata, in a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening services for Italian broadcasters, streamers and TV operators.
The partners said the tie-up will help customers manage and distribute audio-visual content more effectively across the supply chain. Media Press brings pan-European data coverage and an advanced technology platform that includes AI-driven automation and Large Language Model (LLM) integration, while DataTV contributes deep knowledge of the Italian market, strong Italian-language editorial capabilities and agile operations.
Media Press Group CEO Magdalena Cechnicka and DataTV general manager Alvise Felici said the collaboration merges technological innovation with cultural understanding, enabling more tailored solutions for their respective client bases.
