Roku has expanded its free streaming offer in the UK with the launch of over 40 new Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels, now available through The Roku Channel and its dedicated Live TV Zone.
The rollout brings a US-skewed mix of sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and factual content, without subscription or registration. Sports channels include PGA Tour, TNA Wrestling and MLB; entertainment options range from Deal or No Deal to Fear Factor; while drama titles such as The Bold and the Beautiful join lifestyle offerings like The Martha Stewart Channel and This Old House. True crime and factual series including Unsolved Mysteries and Untold Stories of the ER are also part of the new line-up, alongside nature and animal programming from NatureTime and Love Pets.
The expanded line-up is accessible through The Roku Channel and the Live TV Zone on all Roku TV models and streaming players. Roku TVs, available in the UK from partners including JVC, Sharp and Polaroid, run on the Roku operating system and offer access to thousands of streaming channels, voice search, and personalised recommendations.
The move strengthens Roku’s FAST presence in the UK, where the company continues to grow its advertising-supported portfolio to compete with services from Samsung, Amazon, and Pluto TV. It mirrors Roku’s strategy in the United States, where The Roku Channel has become one of the leading ad-supported platforms, carrying hundreds of FAST channels and exclusive content, and serving as a global template for Roku’s international growth.
