Alexander Horrolt joins Zattoo as Director Partnership Ads

October 7, 2025 10.03 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Zattoo has appointed Alexander Horrolt as its new Director Partnership Ads, effective 1 November 2025, as the TV streaming provider expands its advertising sales operations.

In his new role, Horrolt will oversee all advertising-related partnerships at Zattoo, focusing on business development and the management of inventory partnerships. His position also includes acting as an internal business partner and driving the acquisition of third-party advertising inventory.

Horrolt joins Zattoo from Goldbach, where he most recently led Goldbach Next, the successor to Goldbach Digital Services, which he had built up from 2015 onwards. The unit served as a central hub between Goldbach, publishers, clients and agencies, covering all technical aspects and the operational booking process.

He began his career on the agency side before moving into media sales, holding roles at IP Deutschland, Publicitas Cinecom & Media, and later Goldbach. At Goldbach, he initially oversaw major TV sales mandates for SevenOne Media and Viacom, before becoming Managing Director of Goldbach Audience in 2011.

With his extensive experience and strong network in the media and advertising market, Horrolt is expected to play a key role in developing Zattoo’s advertising partnerships, particularly in the fast-growing connected TV (CTV) sector.

“We are delighted to welcome such an experienced manager to our ads team. Alexander’s leadership skills and outstanding network will help us expand and further develop the Ads Partnerships business,” said Klaus Nadler, Chief Sales Officer at Zattoo.

Horrolt added: “Zattoo’s clear focus on the growth area of CTV and my future responsibilities around internal and external ad tech partnerships take me back to my roots. I look forward to helping establish a dedicated ads partnerships division and contributing to Zattoo’s continued growth.”
