Commercial broadcaster ITV is looking back on 70 years of iconic ITV shows, moments, news and events with a 24/7 FAST Channel.
Available through streaming platform ITVX, it will be available through until the end of 2025.
Viewers will be able to stream comedy, action series, drama and documentary.
The shows are also available on a dedicated rail of the ITVX homepage. Included is a remastered 1961 episode of classic entertainment series Sunday Night at the Palladium episode featuring Bruce Forsyth and Norman Wisdom. A strike stopped other performers appearing on the show which led to the two stars writing and performing the entire hour-long episode themselves.
Entertainment includes Beadle’s About, Surprise Surprise and The Golden Shot. There is also archive coverage from the regions, Churchill’s Death Announcement and Funeral (1965), the 1979 General Election that brought Margaret Thatcher to power, Queen Elizabeth II: A Nation Remembers (2022) and Charles: Our New King (2022).
