A revamped NEM Awards will take place in Zagreb this December as part of the annual NEM Zagreb.
The 2025 edition, with the slogan Inspiring Video Creators in CEE, will adopt a revised format intended to acknowledge creativity, expand beyond conventional TV and film, bring together various sectors of the industry, highlight innovation, provide educational opportunities, and facilitate business connections.
The event is expected to attract a broad range of participants from traditional TV and film leaders to emerging creators, as well as brands and platforms such as broadcasters, streamers, OTT executives, producers, showrunners, studio heads, content buyers, technology companies, telecom operators, social media platforms, video creators, short-form content developers, agencies, and marketing professionals.
Submissions for NEM AWARDS will be accepted until 4 November.
The NEM Awards have also been updated and will feature three categories.
• Best Finished TV Series in CEE: Recognizes TV series produced in Central and Eastern Europe that aired or were streamed between 15 September 2024 and 15 October 2025.
• Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe: Highlights prospective projects still in pre-development, providing opportunities for screenwriters and creators to engage with producers and increase visibility.
• Best AI for Video Industry: Acknowledges notable uses of artificial intelligence within the video sector, including content creation, editing, personalization, and audience engagement.
Creators and producers interested in entering can submit their projects until 4 November 2025 for consideration in one of the three categories.
NEM Zagreb 2025 is set for 8 and 9 December 2025. An early bird offer is available for participants until 14 October 2025.
