Digitec Galaxus launches customised TV solution with Zattoo

September 16, 2025 13.01 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Digitec Galaxus, the largest online retailer in Switzerland, is entering the entertainment market with a customised TV solution provided by Zattoo.

The offering will be available on Apple iOS and tvOS, Android TV and Android mobile, and in web browsers, enabling an in‑home as well as on‑the‑go entertainment experience.

Building on Zattoo’s platform, Digitec Galaxus will create a TV brand on a scalable infrastructure. This enables the company group to seamlessly serve B2B customers with tailored wholesale products and support disruptive growth in the Swiss TV market.

With more than 30 TV platform customers and several million monthly active users, Zattoo continues to shape the future of TV and streaming for operators and internet service providers in 12 countries across Europe. Based on nearly two decades of TV and streaming experience, Zattoo offers a fully managed solution that meets the demands of regional operators and service providers that put a superior TV and streaming customer experience at the centre of their business models, according to the company.

“This partnership with Digitec Galaxus highlights the strength of Zattoo’s end‑to‑end TV and video services,” says Roger Elsener, CEO of Zattoo. “Throughout our collaboration, we’ve seen Digitec Galaxus’s dedication to end‑user convenience and an absolutely excellent experience – fine‑tuning the TV offering for customers is clearly their highest priority. Together we are setting new standards in flexible and sustainable TV and video offerings.”

Andreas Kundert, Head of Galaxus Mobile, Internet and TV at Digitec Galaxus, added: “We are happy to have found a strong partner in Zattoo for the expansion of our range of services. Zattoo delivered a flexible and sustainable TV-as-a-service platform, which we are able to scale for further services and expansions.”
