German broadcast technology provider VIDI will showcase the integration of Appear’s X10 and X20 chassis into its Network Management System (VIDI NMS) at this year’s IBC in Amsterdam.
The demonstration will feature a multi-vendor setup, being monitored and controlled end-to-end through the VIDI NMS.
Attendees can visit the VIDI booth 2.C35 and the Appear booth 1.C61 to see how the system manages Appear devices using built-in drivers. The setup illustrates how VIDI NMS supports the configuration and monitoring of video streams across mixed and distributed infrastructures from a single interface, according to the company.
This addition of Appear hardware to the list of supported vendors reflects VIDI’s continued focus on interoperability and vendor-neutral network management.
