German telco Deutsche Telekom is expanding the family offering on its MagentaTV platform by integrating the Toggo app, the children’s entertainment brand operated by Super RTL.
From now on, the Toggo app will be pre-installed on all MagentaTV devices, giving subscribers easy access to live TV, on-demand programming and interactive content aimed at younger viewers. Users can launch the app directly from the MagentaTV interface and enjoy content in the familiar Toggo design.
The move strengthens MagentaTV’s positioning as a family service, while also extending Toggo’s reach in the German streaming market. According to Telekom, the integration is designed to make “child-appropriate entertainment even more accessible”.
Customers who subscribe to RTL+ through MagentaTV will also benefit from additional features: when opening the app, their login will be handled automatically, and Toggo programming will be available without advertising.
The offer includes not only series and live TV but also the mobile Toggo app with extras such as games, avatars and Toggo Radio. The service is intended to combine safety and usability with interactive elements, appealing both to children and parents.
“Toggo stands for safe and modern entertainment that excites children and gives parents peace of mind. By integrating with MagentaTV, we are reaching families exactly where they want to experience content today: across platforms, easily accessible and fully connected,” said Oliver Schablitzki, CEO of Super RTL.
