Eutelsat Group has announced it will now be known simply as Eutelsat.
The Paris-based operator is bringing all of its activities under a single brand following its merger with OneWeb, which created the world’s only GEO-LEO operator.
The LEO constellation will continue under the OneWeb name, highlighting its central role in delivering the low-latency, high-speed services that power Eutelsat’s global advantage and future growth.
There will also be a single website covering both Eutelsat and One Web branded services.
Jean-François Fallacher, Chief Executive Officer of Eutelsat, said: “This new brand is about ambition and clarity. By coming together as Eutelsat, we make it easier for our customers, clearer for our stakeholders, and stronger for the future.”
Eutelsat became Eutelsat Communications in July 2001, when the European intergovernmental organisation Eutelsat transferred its operational activities to a private company, Eutelsat S.A. It became Eutelsat Group in October 2023 following the OneWeb acquisition.
