Smart TV operating system Whale TV has added Red Bull TV to its free streaming service Whale TV+, giving viewers access to live action sports, films and series in multiple languages.
From today, users can watch Red Bull TV 24/7 live in English, Spanish and German via Whale TV+ on Whale TV, Fire TV, Android TV or Google TV-powered devices, as well as smart TVs. The partners also plan to make Red Bull TV programmes available on demand via Whale TV+’s VOD section in the near future.
“On Whale TV+ we offer a diverse selection of entertainment, there is really something for everyone. All the Red Bull TV content is super exciting and fun to watch, like the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, UCI Mountain Bike World Series or the Premier Padel Tour,” said Teresa Lopez, Vice President of Whale TV+.
Red Bull TV is known for its extensive coverage of action sports, music and cultural events. The channel promises a “front row seat” to events ranging from surfing and skiing to skateboarding, motorsports and mountain biking.
The deal continues Whale TV+’s expansion of free channel offerings. Recent additions to the platform include Hip Hop TV, Introuble, Rock TV, Newsmax and Tasty. In total, the service aggregates hundreds of free-to-view live TV channels and thousands of hours of on-demand programming, available without subscription or registration.
Whale TV, founded in 2011, powers more than 44 million active TV sets across over 400 TV brands each month through its operating system, connecting consumers, content providers, advertisers and device makers.
