Yahoo Sports has officially entered the FAST arena in the US with the launch of the Yahoo Sports Network, a 24/7 streaming channel offering more than 60 hours of original programming each week.
Developed in partnership with C15 Studio, the channel is now live on LG Channels and Sling Freestream, with rollouts planned for Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV, Fubo, Plex, Prime Video, and The Roku Channel.
The Yahoo Sports Network delivers a wide-ranging lineup of live and recorded shows covering the NFL, NBA, MLB, college sports, combat sports, and more. Flagship programs include The Ariel Helwani Show, Yahoo Sports Daily, Inside Coverage, and Yahoo Fantasy Forecast, alongside fan favourites like Football 301, The Kevin O’Connor Show, and Network with Rich Kleiman.
“This launch marks a major milestone for our video business,” said Ryan Spoon, President of Yahoo Media Group. “We’re expanding the number of shows, increasing hours of content, and reaching more fans than ever before.”
The channel is also available via yahoosports.tv, a new digital hub for Yahoo Sports video content. In addition to streaming the network, the site hosts highlights from major leagues and features content partnerships with OneFootball and Motorsport Network.
Backed by C15 Studio—known for operating premium sports channels for Formula 1, MotoGP, and the DP World Tour—the Yahoo Sports Network offers advertisers new inventory through commercial breaks and branded integrations.
With YouTube watch time for Yahoo Sports shows up tenfold year-over-year and over half of its programming launched in the past 18 months, the network aims to become a go-to destination for sports fans seeking expert analysis, insider access, and entertaining commentary.
Among the shows:
– Fantasy Football Live and Yahoo Fantasy Forecast deliver daily insights for NFL fantasy managers.
– Baseball Bar-B-Cast and Good Word with Goodwill offer humorous and unconventional takes on MLB and NBA.
– Josh Pate’s College Football Show, The Hard Count, and College Football Enquirer dive deep into college football strategy and recruiting.
– The Cooligans and The Craic with Petesy Carroll bring comedy and European flavor to soccer and combat sports coverage.
With its bold entry into the FAST space, Yahoo Sports is betting big on free streaming as the future of sports media.
