Shivani Wadhwa has been appointed as the new Director of Human Resources at the EBU.
Shivani brings more than two decades of international experience in people and culture leadership, with a strong track record in change management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development in complex global environments.
She joins the EBU from WWF International where she has worked for the last 18 years, most recently as Executive Director of People & Culture. In this role, she was instrumental in shaping a cohesive organizational culture across a diverse network, embedding core values, driving strategic HR advancement, and leading key initiatives on leadership development and workforce planning.
Prior to her time at WWF, Shivani worked as an HR professional in a range of other sectors including multinational companies and the UN system.
A Swiss national of Indian origin, Shivani holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration specialized in Human Resources Development. She is also a mentor with the International Olympic Committee’s EmpowerHer programme and a trustee of Practical Action in the UK.

She will take up her new position at the EBU Headquarters in Geneva on 1 November 2025.
