OSN and The Trade Desk declare strategic streaming advertising partnership

August 14, 2025 13.54 Europe/London By Julian Clover

OSN has announced a strategic partnership with US-based advertising technology company The Trade Desk to make OSN’s programmatic video inventory available to advertisers.

The new collaboration integrates OSN’s content library with The Trade Desk’s advanced media buying platform, thereby broadening access for brands to premium streaming audiences across the region.

The agreement also establishes The Trade Desk as the first demand-side platform to offer brands direct access to OSNtv’s connected television and addressable video-on-demand inventory, which features Arabic and international titles, including content from HBO, Warner Bros. Discovery, and OSN original productions.

Hamid Davari, OSN’s Director of Advertising, said: “At OSN, we are dedicated to innovation that elevates the advertising experience while upholding the highest standards for our viewers. By partnering with The Trade Desk on our Advanced TV solutions, we are opening our premium inventory to brands in a transparent, data-driven, and performance-oriented manner.”

Terry Kane, MENA Managing Director at The Trade Desk added that connected TV was a pivotal digital advertising channel.  “Our partnership with OSN demonstrates our commitment to unlocking the region’s premium inventory and empowering advertisers to make more informed, data-driven decisions at scale.”

Advertisers using The Trade Desk platform will benefit from the ability to target highly engaged viewers within brand-safe environments and measure campaign effectiveness with greater precision.

Dubai-based OSN, operating in 22 countries, pioneered on-demand video services in the region and holds exclusive rights to HBO programming in MENA. The partnership is designed to enhance advertisers’ reach and effectiveness by combining OSN’s premium content and audience with The Trade Desk’s industry-leading technology.
