From 1 August 2025, German travel shopping channel sonnenklar.TV will be available on waipu.tv, further expanding its digital distribution strategy.
The move allows the broadcaster to tap into a broader audience by joining the German streaming platform which boasts more than two million paying subscribers.
The channel will be included free of charge in waipu.tv’s Free package, providing viewers with access to 60 hours of live travel programming per week in HD quality.

waipu.tv offers over 300 TV channels along with a range of advanced features. These include cloud-based recording, pause and restart options for live programmes, and the ability to watch broadcasts from the beginning after they have started. Its “waipen” function allows users to transfer content from their smartphone to their TV set.
The streaming platform is accessible on a wide range of devices and operating systems, including smart TVs, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, as well as iOS and Android devices.
