KultKrimi and Telenovela ZDF join LG Channels

German broadcaster Mainstream Media is extending the reach of its FAST Channels KultKrimi and Telenovela ZDF with the launch on LG Channels across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Following their debut on Samsung TV Plus in April 2025, joining LG Channels marks the next phase in Mainstream Media’s growth strategy for free, linear streaming services. Both channels are available without registration, offering 24/7 access to classic crime dramas and emotional series.

“The growing distribution of our FAST Channels shows that the demand for well-curated, free TV offerings remains strong – even in the on-demand era,” said Tim Werner, CEO of Mainstream Media. “With KultKrimi and Telenovela ZDF, we provide content with a distinct identity that stands out from the crowd. Expanding to LG Channels is another important step in making our offering more accessible and visible.”

KultKrimi brings back the golden age of German television crime series, featuring classics such as Derrick, Der Alte, Ein Fall für zwei, Percy Stuart and Faust. With around 1,500 episodes, the channel offers extensive binge-worthy content for fans of retro detective stories.

Telenovela ZDF is dedicated to emotion-driven storytelling, with titles such as Bianca – Wege zum Glück, Julia – Wege zum Glück, Hanna – Folge deinem Herzen and Alisa – Folge deinem Herzen, delivering tales of love, conflict and dramatic twists.

The addition of LG Channels further strengthens Mainstream Media’s footprint in the DACH region, with more distribution partnerships already under discussion.

Currently, KultKrimi and Telenovela ZDF are accessible via Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Titan OS, VIDAA, waipu.tv, Pluto TV and YouTube, reaching viewers across TV sets, smart TV platforms and streaming services.
