Sky Italia renews Wimbledon tennis rights

June 20, 2025 13.08 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Sky Italia has secured broadcast rights to the Wimbledon tournament for a further four years.

The Grand Slam tennis event will be broadcast exclusively in Sky and NOW between 2027 and 2030.

The broadcaster’s existing contract already includes 2026 and the 2025 tournament, which begins on Sky Sport on June 30.

In a separate agreement, Sky Sport will also show EuroLeague basketball for the next 3 seasons, until 2028, as well as the BKT EuroCup, the second continental tournament.

Marzio Perrelli, Executive Vice President Sport of Sky Italia said: “We are very pleased to have acquired important rights in sports areas of great interest and tradition such as tennis and basketball.

Later this summer, Sky Sport will bring coverage of the World Aquatics Championships, World Rugby U20 Championship, Under 20 Rugby World Cup and US Open tennis.
