Mediaset Infinity+ to replace Mitele Plus in Spain

May 30, 2025 11.30 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Mediaset Spain is to follow the lead of its Italian parent as it transitions its Mitele Plus streaming service into Mediaset Infinity+.

The MediaForEurope company will also expand its range of content with new entertainment and scripted shows including new original productions that will be previously behind a paywall.

Subscribers will be able to watch their chosen content free of commercials, start watching from the beginning of a live stream and download to their chosen device.

The new service will be available online, via a mobile app and through smart TV.  It will feature “a fast and intuitive interface, supported by the technological architecture of one of the most advanced streaming platforms on the market.” The design can be adjusted to suit the users’ tastes; there is also an optimised search system and recommendation engine; an improved user area from which to manage profiles, devices and communications; and a robust and scalable technological architecture that will guarantee the proper functioning of the service at all times.

This launch is the result of more than a year and a half of joint work between Mediaset Spain and Mediaset Italia, in a project that has involved teams from Technology, User Experience, Digital Product, Digital Content and Design.
