Disney+ subscribers in the United States will be able to benefit from a new loyalty scheme offering rewards ranging from access to one-of-a-kind experiences and limited-time sweepstakes to moneysaving offers and special discounts.
Disney+ Perks includes the chance to win tickets to the premiere of the new Freakier Friday movie, a 6-month free membership to food delivery service DoorDash, 20% off on adidas.com and in the adidas app and free Monopoly Go and Star Wars TIE fighter games tokens.
A separate set of offers will be available for subscribers to sister service Hulu.
“Our fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and Perks are our way of thanking them for subscribing to Disney+,” said Samantha Rosenberg, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Disney+. “Whether it’s access to in-demand experiences that only Disney can offer or everyday savings and special discounts from top brands, we’re building two complimentary programs that are all about celebrating our viewers.”
The introduction of the new scheme follows the latest price increase that is beginning to take effect. As with other loyalty schemes Disney+ Perks is designed to provide more value to subscribers or at least create the impression that is the case.
