Sportdigital secures Concacaf Gold Cup 2025 in DACH region

May 28, 2025 09.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

The Concacaf Gold Cup, the Football Championship for North and Central America and the Caribbean, will be broadcast live and exclusively on Sportdigital in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) this summer.

Running from 14 June to 6 July 2025, the tournament will feature 31 matches, showcasing the best teams from the region alongside guest nation Saudi Arabia.

The Gold Cup, the flagship tournament of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf), will bring together 16 national teams competing for continental glory in stadiums across the United States and Canada. Football fans can expect thrilling matchups, with stars like Santiago Giménez (AC Milan) and Leon Bailey (Aston Villa) light up the stage.

Sportdigital will offer comprehensive coverage of every match, ensuring that viewers in the DACH region won’t miss a moment of the action. “For our viewers, there’s no summer break. Securing the rights to this exciting tournament means we can deliver nearly a month of top-tier football entertainment,” said Uli Pingel, Editor-in-Chief of Sportdigital.

Philippe Moggio, Concacaf General Secretary, added: “Bringing the Concacaf Gold Cup to fans in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through Sportdigital is an exciting step as we continue to expand the global reach of our competitions. This partnership offers European audiences the chance to experience the passion, talent, and unique football culture of our region and reflects our commitment to growing Concacaf’s presence on the world stage.”

The 2025 edition kicks off with Mexico, the tournament’s most successful team with nine titles, facing the Dominican Republic in Inglewood, Los Angeles on 14 June. Defending champions USA begin their campaign a day later, taking on Trinidad and Tobago in San Jose.

The tournament features four groups of four teams each, followed by the knockout stages – quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the grand final in Houston, Texas.
