CANAL+ Germany to show new offers for network operators at ANGA COM

May 28, 2025 09.06 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

CANAL+ Germany has announced a series of new offers for network operators across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) at this year’s trade fair ANGA COM, which takes place from 3 to 5 June in Cologne.

The service provider’s latest B2B products, including the fully integrated IPTV platform The Entertainment Hub and the exclusive SportsHD package, are designed to enhance the TV experience for viewers and strengthen customer loyalty for network partners.

A highlight of the CANAL+ Germany stand at hall 7 (stand A10) will be the live demonstration of The Entertainment Hub. Developed in partnership with Spanish technology company AgileTV, the platform provides a one-stop TV solution for network and platform operators in the DACH region. AgileTV delivers the scalable end-to-end technology, while CANAL+ Germany supplies the content, rights, and marketing. The platform aims to modernise the white-label TV business model by offering a TV solution designed to international standards, strengthening network operators’ competitiveness and opening up new growth opportunities.

Alongside The Entertainment Hub, CANAL+ Germany will debut SportsHD, a new sports package tailored for cable and IPTV partners. The bouquet features six premium channels catering to diverse audiences: Sportdigital1+, eSportsONE, Sportdigital Fußball, auto motor und sport channel, Fast & Fun Box, and Tennis Channel. Notably, this is the first time CANAL+ Germany will offer the Tennis Channel for cable distribution, providing sports fans access to a broad lineup of international tennis, including ATP and WTA tournaments, documentaries, and other programmes.

“We look forward to engaging directly with our partners and visitors at ANGA COM 2025,” said Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of CANAL+ Germany. “With The Entertainment Hub, we offer network operators a complete IPTV solution that sets new standards. At the same time, our SportsHD package delivers fresh momentum for the pay-TV market, meeting the strong demand for high-quality sports content.”
